WHAT WE DO
Reforged’s goal is to acquire successful studios and provide them with the additional support they need to make the best games they possibly can. By doing this we help grow their success in a sustainable way that avoids the “boom & bust” cycles developers often face on their own.
We believe that by supplying specialised knowledge and group services in core functions that, not only can we improve cost bases but also day to day operations, thus driving the organic growth of our entire group.

Our operations in strategic locations, such as Malta and the UK, are pivotal components of our Acquire and Cultivate strategy. Peter van der Watt
Peter, is a BAFTA-winning veteran entrepreneur who founded and built Blazing Griffin (2011), a Scotland-based game studio/multimedia group which he grew from a three-person team to a multi-million-pound enterprise, delivering games/films and postproduction projects.
He has negotiated a number of IP acquisitions and, as MD of Blazing Griffin, taken a number of games from blank page to market. Peter is an active member and former juror of BAFTA, and a thought-leader in the industry. He also founded the Wattage Mining Company (2017) a Bitcoin mine in Iceland.

Ross Laurie
Ross, an accomplished and award-winning entrepreneur (Line Digital, Visible Capital), has a successful track record of launching, scaling, and exiting emerging tech ventures.
He’s also earned multiple accolades including Top Digital Influencer (BIMA) for three consecutive years; Agency of the Year (Drum Award for Digital Industries); and is consistently recognised in the Wealthtech100.
With a background in digital, fintech and start-up sectors. His proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive innovation creates long-term market value.

Colin Anderson
Colin, a 30-year veteran of the video game industry, has worked on over 100 commercial releases across both triple-A and independent titles. His credits include hit franchises Crackdown, Lemmings, and Grand Theft Auto as well as innovative BAFTA-winning indie games Autonauts, Denki Blocks and Quarrel.
Throughout his career, Colin has worked for several highly successful publishers including Rockstar Games, Epic Games, and founded then scaled two game businesses, Denki and Waterfront Entertainment from zero to $1M+ turnover. He enjoyed a 10 year tenure as Director of The Independent Game Developers Association (TIGA) and is currently part of the Scottish Government’s Creative Industries Leadership Group, advising on creative industries policy.
Colin has served as a judge for BAFTA, IGF, and DEVELOP interactive industry awards. He also advises Abertay University on Undergraduate and Masters Video Game degree programs.
